Soil compaction is a common problem in turf.  When soil becomes tightly packed, air and water are unable to reach the roots.  This can lead to a shallow root system and ultimately a poor quality lawn, susceptible to many types of pests and diseases.  Relieving soil compaction with deep core aeration annually is recommended and will enable your turf to flourish.  Our core aeration machines remove half inch plugs loosening the soil allowing water and air to penetrate further into the root zone.  Spring and/or fall are the recommended times for core aeration.  Services such as dethatching and verticutting are also available upon request.

Seasonal over-seeding is a recommended part of maintaining specific turf grasses commonly found in the Southeast.  Usually accompanied with an aeration service, over-seeding will bring new life to your landscape.
