Peachtree Pest Control is Celebrating it’s 40th Year!!

Thank you to all of our wonderful customers who have helped us become Georgia’s best pest control company.

There are certain moments in life when it is important to stop and reflect. To look back at events and contemplate their life significance. April 1st 2016 is one of those moments. That’s true for me personally and for my company. On this date in 1976 Peachtree Pest Control was founded by my father, Steve Arnold. That’s right, our 40th anniversary!

As owner of the family business I can’t remember a time when Peachtree hasn’t been a part of our lives. As a kid I remember coming to work with my father. Many summers were spent in my youth working with the termite crews, pulling hose, digging trenches, drilling slabs, and fitting into the tightest crawlspaces because I was the little guy. I learned work ethic.

Time passed, I grew older and the business grew larger. We earned more customers, hired more team members, bought more trucks, and faced more challenges. I was a young adult sitting in my father’s office watching him stress over bills, taxes, and attorneys. Listening to hard decisions being made which came with personal sacrifice to our family. I learned tenacity, dedication, responsibility and the importance of keeping the customer first.

Now, 15 years after joining the business full time I look back over all these years. I see the hard work of not just my family but that of many great people. Some remain while others have moved on. I cherish the lessons, the counsel and perspective from many good people. It’s made all the difference. I look back fondly on the relationships established. I’ve known many since I was a kid. None of this would have been possible without them.

And so, on the eve of our 40th anniversary I feel a tremendous sense of gratitude and hope. I’m thankful for my loyal customers, to my father who came before me and created a path, who taught me life lessons, and who sacrificed for the greater good. A hope for the bright future ahead because of those very sacrifices and lessons. May there be many more years of providing pest management services to our friends and family across the great state of Georgia.

With Great Honor and Humility, I remain,
Corey Arnold
