Seasonal and Occasional Pest Control Services for Other Invaders
Many pests appear in massive numbers to escape extreme temperatures. Our additional pest control services include targeted protocols for these persistent visitors:
- Pest Control for Boxelder Bugs: These insects congregate on sunny walls before moving into your attic. Our pest control for boxelder bugs uses exterior barrier treatments to stop them before they breach your home.
- Stink Bug Pest Control: Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs emit foul odors when disturbed. Our stink bug pest control involves sealing entry points and applying timed treatments during peak migration.
- Beetles & Cicada Killers: Whether dealing with swarming lady beetles or burrowing cicada killers, we provide species-specific deterrents to protect your interior fabrics and landscaping.
Stinging and Biting Insect Pest Control Services
Stinging insects pose serious health risks. Our services prioritize safety and total colony elimination for the following pests:
- Pest Control for Bees: When bees nest in walls, they become a hazard. Our pest control for bees focuses on humane relocation or safe removal to prevent honey rot and secondary infestations.
- Flea Exterminator Services: Fleas quickly infest carpets and furniture. As a professional flea exterminator, we use growth regulators to break the life cycle and clear your home permanently.
- Hornets & Ticks: We provide specialized nest removal for aggressive hornets and yard transition zone treatments to protect against ticks and mites.
Pest Control for Moisture-Loving and Interior Pests
High humidity attracts pests that thrive in damp environments. If you notice an increase in these “crawlers,” it often indicates a moisture issue:
- Crawling Nuisances: We target centipedes, millipedes, and earwigs in damp areas like basements and crawl spaces to eliminate these unsettling intruders at the source.
- Fabric & Pantry Pests: From grain pests in your pantry to moths and silverfish in your closets, we identify the source and protect your food and heirlooms.
- Carpenter Ants: Unlike termites, these ants excavate wood for nests. We provide specialized inspections and treatments to stop structural damage before it starts.

Additional Pest Control Service FAQs
For most homes, quarterly maintenance is recommended to maintain a consistent protective barrier against common invaders. However, severe infestations or high-risk pests like oriental cockroaches may require monthly visits until the population is under control. Peachtree Pest Control offers flexible scheduling, including weekly, monthly, or quarterly options, to match your specific needs and ensure your property remains safe and pest-free year-round.
The most effective preventative measures involve limiting access to food, water, and shelter. Seal cracks around windows and doors with caulk, repair damaged screens, and keep kitchen surfaces clear of crumbs. Additionally, trimming vegetation away from your home’s foundation and addressing moisture issues in crawl spaces can significantly reduce the likelihood of a major infestation before it even begins.
Common signs include physical sightings of live insects, small droppings in cabinets or along baseboards, and unusual musty odors. You may also notice property damage, such as gnaw marks on food packaging or hollow-sounding wood. Scratching sounds in walls or discarded wings near windowsills are also red flags that require a professional inspection to identify and address the source.
The cost for professional pest control for boxelder bugs varies based on the size of your property and the extent of the swarming. Since these pests often invade in massive clusters, the complexity of the treatment determines the final price. Peachtree Pest Control offers thorough inspections and personalized quotes to ensure you get the most effective solution for your budget.
The best time for stink bug pest control is late summer or early fall. Because these pests move indoors to overwinter once temperatures drop, applying a preventative barrier treatment before they enter your home is the most effective strategy. Spraying entry points during this peak migration period stops the infestation before it can settle into your walls and attic.
A professional flea exterminator typically resolves an infestation within three to eight weeks. While adult fleas die quickly after the initial treatment, their complex life cycle means eggs and pupae must hatch and encounter the treatment to be eliminated. Consistency is key, and our technicians use growth regulators to break this cycle and ensure your home stays flea-free.
Yes, we provide specialized pest control for bees, including carpenter and mining bees. While we do not exterminate protected honey bees due to their vital role as pollinators, we offer expert identification and humane removal or relocation services. If you have an intimidating swarm or a nest in your structure, our team can safely manage the situation for you.

The Tech from Peachtree Pest gained my attention before pulling off. He personally stopped me to let me know who he was and what he was here to do. As I looked back on my camera it seemed he did a very good job. I am very impressed. Thank you for his very professional and caring job to my home!
I’ve been with Peachtree since I purchased my house in 2006. My service has been consistently excellent with minimal problems with pests. Whenever I have had an issue with termites, ants, or yellow jackets and hornets, Peachtree’s response has been very quick and effective. They have given top notch service, and I have never had a reason to even think about changing my pest control company. Most recently George came out and took care of a nest of hornets that had taken up residence in one of the bushes next to my house. Superb communication and response.
I got quotes for a termite bond from 3 companies, including Hole in One. The other 2 were large companies. Hole in One’s quote was MUCH cheaper, and included drilling liquid treatment around the exterior of the home and the inside perimeter of the garage, whereas the other quotes were for liquid treatment around the exterior of the home only. Tony (owner) provided a free quote, and didn’t make me feel pressured at all. Aaron M performed the treatment, and was on time, friendly, professional, and worked hard. I’d highly recommend Hole in One.
Peachtree Pest Control does an inspection every three months and recently found a squirrel hole in my soffit. I covered it up right away. Allen Lindall, our account manager came the next day to offer solutions to our problem. Allen proposed their Smart Pest Monitoring System. We agreed and signed up for it. David and Tim came out a couple of days later and installed the hardware. It has a base Station located inside the house with two motion detectors, one in the attic and one in the garage. If the motion sensors detect any activity and/or issues with the system, they will contact us in order to set up an appointment for an inspection. The new contract bundles the tri-annual inspections and the yearly contract renewal into small monthly payment. It actually saved us money! Now we have monitors installed in our house for squirrels or any other varmints to prevent them from making it their home. Highly recommended. Five star all the way.
